General Terms and Conditions

Special Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Tickets for the Nation of Gondwana Festival / Visitor Regulations

Conclusion of the Event Contract
The event contract is concluded when the ticket is handed over to the purchaser. By purchasing the ticket(s), the purchaser undertakes to use them exclusively for private purposes. Each ticket is valid for one person only. Children and minors are not permitted to purchase tickets. The purchaser expressly declares that they will be of legal age at the time the event begins.

Conclusion of Contract via artevent GmbH or Authorized Outlets
If the event contract is concluded directly with artevent GmbH or through an authorized ticket outlet, the contract becomes effective upon transfer of the tickets; for telephone orders, upon communication of the booking number by an artevent GmbH employee.
In the case of a telephone order, the purchaser may review these Terms and Conditions in advance at the ticket outlets or at www.pyonen.de. In addition, the Terms and Conditions will be sent together with the ordered tickets immediately after conclusion of the contract. Before completing a telephone order, the purchaser is informed that continuation of the order constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, even if they have not been sent prior to the conclusion of the contract.

Online Orders
When placing an order through the online booking system, the purchaser submits an offer to conclude a contract by initiating the order process for a ticket. If artevent GmbH accepts this offer, confirmation is provided via e-mail, which simultaneously constitutes acceptance of the offer.

Transfer of Rights and Obligations
The rights and obligations arising from the event contract documented by the ticket may only be transferred to a third party if that party enters into the event contract, assuming all rights and obligations in full. Such transfer requires the prior consent of artevent GmbH, which will not be granted in particular if tickets or visitation rights are sold through unauthorized auctions (especially on the internet) or via unauthorized online marketplaces or ticket exchanges.

Ticket Limits and Personalization
Each purchaser may order, regardless of the number of transactions, no more tickets than the maximum quantity specified by artevent GmbH for the respective event. Circumvention of this restriction is prohibited.
Tickets are personalized. Purchasers must provide truthful personal data for personalization purposes. Admission to the event will be granted only if the ticket holder can provide valid identification and the name on the ticket matches the name on the ID document (e.g., passport, national ID card, or driver’s license).
artevent GmbH reserves the right to require personalization after purchase. In case of violation of the obligations described in sentences 1–4, artevent GmbH is entitled to withdraw from the contract by blocking the tickets.

Restrictions on Resale and Transfer
To prevent violence or criminal acts associated with the event, to enforce bans, to stop resale of tickets at inflated prices, and in the interest of visitor safety, artevent GmbH will not grant consent for third-party transfer of tickets in the following cases:
• if the resale price (including auction results) exceeds the original ticket price plus a flat surcharge of €2 by more than 10%; this applies also to private resale (e.g., via eBay);
• if tickets or visitation rights are resold through unauthorized auctions (especially online), either directly or by third parties;
• if tickets or visitation rights are resold through unauthorized online marketplaces or ticket exchanges, either directly or by third parties;
• if tickets are sold commercially or for profit without prior written consent from artevent GmbH;
• if resale occurs without explicit reference to these Terms and Conditions, particularly this section.
Resale under the conditions mentioned above is permitted only via the platform www.tixforgigs.com.
Consent by artevent GmbH requires full provision of the buyer’s contact details as defined in Section 5, Sentence 3.

Prohibition of Unauthorized Resale
Any distribution or offering of tickets in violation of Section 6 is strictly prohibited. By entering into the event contract or assuming it, the purchaser warrants compliance with this prohibition. By presenting the ticket at entry, the ticket holder confirms that they are legitimately entitled to attend and that the ticket has not been acquired in violation of Section 6.

Contractual Penalty
For every breach of the prohibition stated in Section 7, the purchaser shall pay artevent GmbH a contractual penalty, the amount of which shall be determined at the reasonable discretion of artevent GmbH, up to a maximum of €2,500 per violation. The number of violations is determined by the number of unlawfully offered tickets or visitation rights.

Consequences of Violation
In the event of a violation of the prohibition in Section 7 Sentence 1 or a false declaration under Section 7 Sentences 2 and 3, artevent GmbH may:
• withdraw from the event contract and/or
• block the tickets and refuse entry to the ticket holder.
If, as a result of withdrawal or blocking, the purchaser is entitled to a refund, artevent GmbH shall take this into account when determining the contractual penalty. artevent GmbH further reserves the right to exclude the purchaser from future ticket purchases.

Loss or Theft of Tickets
In case of loss or theft of tickets, no replacement claim exists. If artevent GmbH can block the lost ticket, a replacement ticket may be issued upon payment of a processing fee of €10.
Ticketing services in Germany are handled on behalf of artevent GmbH by:
TixforGigs, Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße 60, 04109 Leipzig, Germany.

Visitor Regulations (Sections 11–26)

Prohibited Items
Dangerous objects such as pyrotechnics, torches, weapons of any kind, or items that could cause serious injury may not be brought to the Nation of Gondwana festival grounds.

Access to the Event Site
Before entering the event area (the separate, fenced-off stage area distinct from the camping site), all bulky items, backpacks, carrying frames, and bags larger than DIN A4 (approx. 20 × 30 cm) must be deposited. In cases of doubt, visitors must comply with the instructions of the security personnel. Barriers and platforms are off-limits. Animals are not permitted on the event site.

Cameras and Recording Devices
Bringing photo, video, or other audio-visual recording equipment for commercial use is strictly prohibited. artevent GmbH may deny entry to visitors carrying such devices in violation of this rule or may confiscate them until the end of the event. Audio, photo, or video recordings—except for strictly private use—are not permitted. Misuse will be prosecuted under civil and criminal law.

Security Screening and Conduct
Security staff are authorized to search persons—including by technical means—to determine whether they pose a safety risk due to alcohol or drug consumption or possession of weapons or dangerous pyrotechnics. artevent GmbH may deny entry in such cases. Intoxicated or drug-impaired persons will not be admitted. Visitors must occupy only the seat or area indicated on their ticket and comply with the instructions of security staff. Violations may result in confiscation of the ticket and/or expulsion from the premises. Bringing banners or materials for commercial use is prohibited.

No Replacement or Refunds
No replacement or refund is provided in cases of event cancellation, relocation, or loss of the ticket. For discounted tickets, proof of eligibility must be shown. Returns or exchanges are excluded.

Film and Photography Notice
Visitors are expressly informed that film and photographic recordings will be made during the Nation of Gondwana, in which visitors may be recognizable. By purchasing a ticket and entering the event, visitors consent to the recording and unrestricted use of their likeness in any media, including film, television, and video, without limitation in content, time, or place.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If the event does not take place, purchasers will receive a refund of the ticket price upon presentation of the original ticket. If the cancellation is beyond artevent GmbH’s control, only the ticket price and waste-deposit fee will be refunded; advance-sale fees are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled due to fault by artevent GmbH, the customer is entitled to a partial refund of the ticket price. No further claims exist. Cancellations due to climatic or weather-related reasons do not entitle the holder to a refund.

Liability
artevent GmbH’s liability under the event contract for culpably caused damage to life, body, or health is limited to a maximum of €3 million. For damage to other property, artevent GmbH is liable in cases of intent or gross negligence up to a maximum of €1 million, or, where essential contractual obligations are breached, only for direct, foreseeable damages typical of such contracts. artevent GmbH shall not be liable for slight negligence involving non-essential contractual obligations. These limitations also apply to agents and assistants engaged by artevent GmbH. artevent GmbH accepts no liability for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, in particular outages of telecommunications or power networks.

Exclusion from the Event
If a visitor commits criminal acts on the premises (e.g., assault, theft, drug trafficking), artevent GmbH may exclude them from the event. In such cases, the ticket loses its validity and no refund will be granted. Instructions from security personnel must be followed.

Visitor Liability and Compliance
Visitors are liable for any damage caused by their actions. Instructions from security and supervisory personnel must be strictly followed. Repeated violations of the visitor regulations or staff instructions may result in expulsion or a general site ban, including from future events.

Age Restriction
Persons under 18 years of age are strictly prohibited from entering the event. Any person under 18 found on the premises will be immediately removed from the site and excluded from the event.

Animals
Bringing animals of any kind to the Nation of Gondwana festival is prohibited. Violation may result in immediate expulsion from the event grounds.

Wristband Policy
Upon arrival, the purchased ticket will be exchanged for a wristband attached to the attendee’s wrist. The properly fastened wristband grants access to the festival grounds during the event period and may not be transferred to another person. Any manipulation, transfer, or false representation (e.g., use of VIP wristbands) will result in immediate exclusion from the event and may entail civil and criminal consequences. No refund is provided if the attendee leaves the premises before or during the festival.

Cashless Payment System – Refund Deadlines
A cashless payment system is mandatory for all on-site purchases. Refunds of any remaining credit will be possible until September 30, 2026.

Event Cancellation (Additional Clause)
If the event does not take place, purchasers will receive a refund of the paid amount upon presentation of the ticket. If the cancellation is beyond artevent GmbH’s control, only the ticket price and waste-deposit fee will be refunded; advance-sale fees and solidarity surcharges are non-refundable. In case of event cancellation after commencement, customers are entitled to a partial refund. No further claims exist.

Conditional Tickets
Certain ticket types (e.g., B-Bundle, Youth Ticket) are subject to specific conditions. If the ticket holder fails to meet these conditions, in whole or in part, the ticket becomes invalid.

By purchasing a ticket for the Nation of Gondwana 2026, you acknowledge our principles:

We aim for a collective, discrimination-free time during our festival, where everyone feels as comfortable and welcome as possible. We place great importance on respectful and considerate interaction. Right-wing, authoritarian, and other inhumane attitudes are incompatible with our values.
Each person brings their own experiences to the field and sets boundaries differently, so we expect consensus and empathy in every situation – without exception. We want to celebrate together, regardless of ethnic background, sexual orientation, gender identity, cultural background, age, learning abilities, or visible and invisible disabilities. We recognize that our event is not inherently free from discrimination. Therefore, we work with an intersectional, affected-oriented approach to make the Nation of Gondwana safer year by year.

We say NO to sexualized, racist, ableist, homo-, inter-, and transphobic acts of violence.

We say NO to authoritarian, right-wing, or fascist tendencies, actions, or ideologies, in any form..

We say NO to antisemitic and anti-Muslim statements and actions.

We say NO to discriminatory and offensive attacks, whether verbal or physical.

We do NOT want national flags on our festival site.

We value the individual’s rights to privacy, which includes the right to one’s own image. Do NOT photograph or film individuals without their clear consent.

Contradictory behavior will be penalized and may under certain circumstances lead to immediate expulsion from the premises!
At this point, we would like to remind you of our Awareness Team from the Safer Space (opposite the entrance to Spelunke), which is available around the clock and has an open ear for ALL matters. There you will find support, help, and protection. To ensure that everyone has a great Nation of Gondwana 2026, your participation is crucial! Contact us immediately if you feel uncomfortable or notice an unpleasant situation. In principle, all staff members are connected via radio and can quickly organize support. You can also contact our Awareness Team directly, recognizable by their green vests, or our security.
