TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Special terms and conditions for the sale of tickets for the Nation of Gondwana Festival / visitor regulations
1. The event contract is concluded upon handing over the admission ticket to the purchaser. The purchaser agrees bindingly to use the ticket(s) exclusively for private purposes. Each ticket is valid for one person only. Children and minors are not allowed to purchase tickets. The purchaser confirms that they will be of legal age at the start of the event.
2. When concluding the event contract with artevent GmbH or at an authorised point of sale, the contract is concluded upon handover of the tickets. In the case of telephone orders, it is concluded when the booking number is provided by an artevent GmbH employee. In the case of telephone orders, the purchaser has the opportunity to review the terms and conditions in advance at the presale points and at www.pyonen.de. In addition, the terms and conditions are sent to the purchaser together with the tickets immediately after the contract is concluded. During telephone ordering, the purchaser is informed before completing the order that by continuing the order they accept these terms and conditions, even if they have not yet been received before contract conclusion.
3. In the online booking system, the offer for contract conclusion is made by the purchaser as soon as they place an order for a ticket. If artevent GmbH accepts the offer, this is confirmed by email, which simultaneously constitutes acceptance of the offer.
4. Rights and obligations arising from the event contract documented by the ticket may only be transferred to a third party if that third party enters into the contract, assuming all rights and obligations. This requires the consent of artevent GmbH, which will not be granted in particular in cases of resale or ticket sales via unauthorised auctions (especially on the internet) or unauthorised online marketplaces or ticket exchanges.
5. Each purchaser may – regardless of the number of orders – only purchase up to the maximum number of tickets specified by artevent GmbH for the respective event. Circumventing this limit is prohibited. Tickets are personalised. Purchasers must provide accurate personalisation data. Entry is only granted if the ticket holder can identify themselves and the name on the ticket matches the name on their ID document. Accepted identification includes official photo ID such as an identity card, passport, or driving licence. Personalisation may also be required after purchase. In case of violations, artevent GmbH is entitled to cancel tickets and withdraw from the contract.
6. To prevent violence and criminal offences related to the event, enforce bans, prevent resale at inflated prices, and ensure spectator safety, consent to the entry of third parties is not granted in the following cases:
resale of tickets where the resale price exceeds the original price plus a €2 flat fee by more than 10%;
resale via unauthorised auctions (especially online);
resale via unauthorised online marketplaces or ticket exchanges;
commercial resale without prior written consent;
resale without explicit reference to these terms and conditions.
Resale is only permitted via www.tixforgigs.com.
Consent requires that the buyer’s contact details (as per clause 5) are fully provided.
7. Transfer or offering of tickets in violation of clause 6 is prohibited. The purchaser guarantees compliance with this rule. The ticket holder also confirms that they are entitled to attend and that the ticket was not obtained in violation of clause 6.
8. For each violation of clause 7, the contracting party is obliged to pay a contractual penalty to artevent GmbH, determined at its reasonable discretion, up to a maximum of €2,500 per violation.
9. In case of violations of clause 7 or false declarations, artevent GmbH is entitled to:
withdraw from the event contract and/or
block tickets and deny entry.
Refunds may be offset against the contractual penalty. The organiser may also exclude violators from future ticket purchases.
10. In case of loss or theft of tickets, no replacement is provided. If the ticket can be blocked, a replacement ticket may be issued for a €10 processing fee. Ticketing in Germany is handled by TixforGigs, Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße 60, 04109 Leipzig, Germany.
11. Dangerous items such as pyrotechnics, torches, weapons of any kind, and objects that may cause serious injury are not allowed at Nation of Gondwana.
12. Before entering the event area (stage area separate from the camping site), bulky items, backpacks, carrying frames, and bags larger than A4 (approx. 20×30 cm) must be handed in. In case of doubt, security instructions must be followed. Restricted areas may not be entered. Animals are not allowed.
13. Commercial photo/video equipment and recording devices are generally not permitted. artevent GmbH may deny entry or confiscate such devices. Recordings for private use only are allowed; any misuse will be prosecuted under civil and criminal law.
14. Security staff may search persons for alcohol, drugs, weapons, or dangerous items. Intoxicated persons or those under the influence of drugs are not allowed entry. Instructions from security must be followed.
15. No replacement or refund in case of cancellation, rescheduling, or loss of ticket. No returns or exchanges.
16. Visitors acknowledge that film and photo recordings will be made during the event and may show them. By purchasing the ticket, they agree to the use of such recordings without restriction in time, space, or content.
17. If the event is not held, ticket holders will receive a refund. If cancellation is not the responsibility of artevent GmbH, only ticket price and waste deposit are refunded (not booking fees). Further claims are excluded.
18. Liability is limited: up to €3 million for personal injury; up to €1 million for other damages in cases of intent or gross negligence, with further limitations for minor negligence. No liability for external disruptions (e.g. power or telecom failures).
19. In case of serious violations (e.g. crimes on site), artevent GmbH may exclude visitors. Tickets then lose validity and refunds are excluded.
20. Visitors are liable for damages caused by their behaviour and must follow staff instructions. Repeated violations may result in exclusion.
21. Persons under 18 are strictly not allowed to enter the event.
22. Pets are not allowed on the festival grounds.
23. Tickets are exchanged for wristbands on site. Wristbands must not be transferred. Manipulation leads to exclusion and legal consequences. No refunds if leaving early.
24. Cashless system is mandatory. Refund deadline for remaining balance is 30.09.2026.
25. Same refund rules as above; additional fees are not refunded in certain cancellation cases.
26. Some tickets (e.g. B-Bundle, youth tickets) are conditional; if conditions are not met, the ticket becomes invalid.
